Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act NSP 3

On September 8, 2010, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced the allocation of $1 billion in funds for the Neighborhood Stabilization Program as part of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. Funds from this program will be used in conjunction with previous funding for Neighborhood Stabilization Program that will help stabilize communities by reversing the effects of foreclosed properties in neighborhoods. To receive the allocation, each jurisdiction must submit an amendment to its Program Year 2010 Annual Action Plan to HUD, detailing the projected uses of funds.
