Harris County Housing & Community Development is excited to introduce a simpler, more secure way to submit public records requests.

GovQA increases the convenience and accessibility of making and receiving public records requests. It allows users to monitor the status of their requests, communicate with HCD staff, and receive the requested documents.

Texas Public Information Act

The Texas Public Information Act (TPIA) gives the public the right to request access to government information, namely records.

Freedom of Information Act

The Freedom of information Act (FOIA) provides the public the right to request records from any federal or federally-funded agency.
